01

Measure your comfortable height range

Sit in your usual chair and note the height at which your forearms rest comfortably while typing. Repeat while standing. These two positions help us check that the selected frame range works for you.

02

Choose the shape before the mechanism

A straight desk suits most rooms. An adjustable L-shaped desk needs a compatible corner frame and a clear plan for the return, seams and cable movement.

03

Plan the moving cables

Allow enough cable length for the highest position. Decide where power enters, where the tray sits and which devices move with the desktop so nothing pulls or catches.

04

Keep the setup balanced

Tell us about monitor arms, desktop computers, speakers and other heavy equipment. Their position matters when choosing the frame and work-surface dimensions. Read the care and warranty notes for adjustable desks.

05

Set your working positions after installation

Use your chair, keyboard and footwear to fine-tune both heights. Aim for relaxed shoulders, supported wrists and elbows close to a right angle rather than relying on a generic height.
